Broderick Tower

So I somewhat feel like a punk rushing over to the Broderick Tower after reading about it being accessible, but A and I tried last year, only to end up in some shitty diner instead. The Broderick is one of the few larger buildings we hadn't covered and it was well worth the effort.



As ridiculous as a whale mural in downtown Detroit is, it's far better than the several story tall bug/Jeep ad that fouled up the Detroit skyline for months.







Being short on time, we skipped the lobby and headed straight for the top of the building, where we came across what used to be a private bar on one of the top floors of the building.



....the view from the roof of the Broderick is one of the best in the city.
