The dirtiest nature trail in Michigan

Having some time to kill after getting a six hour tour of some of the Masonic Temple's rarely seen rooms, and with the Detroit Derby Girls bout not starting for a few more hours, D and I wandered a stretch of the Dequindre cut between Eastern Market and Rivertown. If it weren't for the pissed off homeless guys, trash, and graffiti, you could almost fool yourself into thinking you were taking a nature walk at the cider mill, and not in the middle of Detroit.
